Terms of Service

These terms cover Verboloom’s text-to-speech website, studio, API, and related services. By creating an account, purchasing a plan, or using the service, you agree to these terms.

Plans and service. Verboloom converts submitted text to speech and, where available, lets customers download generated audio or use API and batch features. Current plans are Starter ($9/month, up to 300,000 standard-voice characters), Builder ($29/month, up to 1.2 million characters, API access and batch generation), and Studio ($79/month, up to 4 million characters, team workspace and higher API limits). Premium voices are not included unless expressly stated. Additional standard-voice usage may be charged at the stated rate, currently $8 per additional million characters. We may apply reasonable limits to protect the service.

Accounts and acceptable use. Give accurate account information and protect your credentials. Use the service lawfully and only with materials you have the right to submit. Do not use it to infringe rights, generate unlawful or deceptive content, harass or harm others, evade usage limits, or disrupt the service. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Your content. You retain rights in the text you submit. You authorize Verboloom and its service providers to process text and generated audio as needed to provide, maintain, secure, and support the service. You are responsible for your input and intended use. Output may not be unique or error-free. Do not present synthetic speech as a real person’s endorsement or recording without authorization.

Billing. Plans are billed in advance monthly and renew automatically until canceled. Cancel before the next renewal to avoid the next charge. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period unless applicable law or checkout says otherwise. Taxes may be added where required. See our Refund Policy for details.

Availability and ownership. We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may change features or plans, providing notice when reasonably practicable for material changes to a paid plan. Verboloom and its licensors own the service, software, branding, and materials. You receive a limited right to use the service during your subscription.

Liability. Nothing limits rights or liability that cannot be limited by law. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available, and Verboloom is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or loss of data. Total liability for claims relating to the service will not exceed amounts you paid during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Ending and updates. You may stop using the service and cancel at any time. We may suspend access for material breach, legal requirement, or security risk. We may update these terms by posting a revised version. Mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence apply.
